1. Contact through email, phone calls, and LinkedIn to set up matcha tasting sessions at prestigious hotels, resorts, and cafes in Dubai, showcasing the exquisite taste and quality of our Japanese ceremonial matcha
2. Engage hotel clients with compelling stories about matcha, its origins, health benefits, and how it aligns with the luxury experience
3. Build and maintain good relationships with hotel management and stakeholders to promote ongoing collaborations and PR opportunities
4. Research and contact potential suppliers
5. Request quotes and negotiate
6. Identify and evaluate potential PR opportunities through social media influencers, magazines, and events to enhance brand visibility and engagement
7. Communicate closely with the director to provide feedback from tasting sessions, helping to refine and enhance our matcha offerings and approach for our clientele
All direct expenses related to tastings, including food and travel, will be covered by the company. You will also receive your own Piohni matcha kit for personal use as well as for presenting our matcha during tastings.
Duration: It is a 3-month part-time internship with a very flexible work-from-home arrangement and relaxed company culture. A commitment of 15-20 hours per week (after your preferred schedule or days you would like to work) with the potential for a job offer at the end of the internship period is expected.

Other requirements
1. Genuine passion for matcha and a deep interest in the five-star hospitality and events space.
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for engaging storytelling and in-person selling.
3. A proactive, outgoing personality with a strong ability to build and nurture relationships.
4. Be self-motivated and able to work independently while effectively managing your own schedule.
5. Fluent in English, both written and verbal; proficiency in other languages is a big plus.
6. Previous experience in sales, customer service, or the hospitality industry is advantageous but not required.
7. Owning a genuine love for high-quality matcha is highly valued.
8. The candidate should have access to their own computer and a reliable internet connection for coordinating activities.

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (AED 100 per new client).
