Are you a skilled Odia Expert looking to kickstart your career in the language industry? Guidofie is seeking a passionate intern to join our dynamic team! As an Odia Expert intern, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in transcription, translation, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC).
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Utilize your proficiency in Odia language to accurately transcribe audio and video recordings.
2. Translate documents, texts, and content from Odia to English and vice versa with precision and cultural sensitivity.
3. Conduct thorough quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all translated materials.
4. Collaborate with the team to improve existing translation processes and workflows.
5. Assist in maintaining glossaries, style guides, and terminology databases for consistent and high-quality translations.
6. Stay current on industry trends and best practices to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's success.
7. Embrace new challenges and opportunities for growth in a supportive and innovative work environment.
