1. A bachelors or masters degree in Kannada literature, linguistics, education, or a related field is preferred.
2. Fluency in spoken and written Kannada is preferred.
3. Experience teaching or tutoring Kannada to speakers of other languages.
4. Familiarity with both spoken and written Kannada instruction.
5. Experience in developing course materials, including speaking exercises, writing tasks, and grammar lessons.
6. Ability to use online education platforms (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle).
7. Familiarity with video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) for conducting live sessions.
8. Be comfortable creating and sharing digital content, such as worksheets, quizzes, and multimedia resources.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Kannada and English.
10. Ability to explain language concepts clearly and effectively.
11. Skill in creating an interactive and engaging online learning environment.
12. Ability to provide constructive feedback and support to students.
13. Commitment to staying updated with the latest teaching methodologies and resources for Kannada.
14. Availability to meet with students in different time zones.
15. Commitment to regular tutoring sessions and timely responses to student inquiries.
16. Patience and empathy to support diverse learners with varying levels of Kannada proficiency.
17. Ability to motivate and inspire students.
