1. A master’s degree or Ph.D. in molecular spectroscopy, chemistry, physics, or a closely related field is preferred.
2. In-depth understanding of spectroscopic techniques (e.g., IR, UV-Vis, NMR, MS, Raman).
3. Hands-on experience in molecular spectroscopy research.
4. Familiarity with current research and technological advancements in spectroscopy.
5. Possess the ability to provide constructive feedback and support to students.
6. Experience teaching or tutoring molecular spectroscopy or related subjects at the college or university level.
7. Experience with online teaching platforms and methods.
8. Experience in developing course materials, including lectures, problem sets, and lab simulations.
9. Ability to use online education platforms (e.g., Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle).
10. Familiarity with virtual lab simulations and spectroscopy software (e.g., ChemDraw, Gaussian, MATLAB).
11. Comfortable using video conferencing tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and creating engaging multimedia content.
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
13. Ability to explain complex spectroscopic concepts clearly and effectively.
14. Skill in creating an interactive and engaging online learning environment.
