Purchase Specialist (Supply Chain Procurement Department) Work From Home Part Time Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Research and identify potential suppliers or vendors who can provide the required goods or services. This includes evaluating supplier capabilities, conducting market research, analysing supplier proposals, and negotiating contracts
2. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of goods and services. This includes monitoring supplier performance, addressing any issues or disputes, and seeking opportunities for collaboration and improvement
3. Handle the creation, review, and management of purchase quotation / purchase orders if necessary .
4. Negotiate contracts with suppliers, including terms, pricing, delivery schedules, and service level agreements
5. Analyse costs associated with procurement activities and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
6. Product and vendor selection by screening the products and service as and when needed.

Schedule of selection committee:

1. First round of interview will be recorded via a Google form which will be shared on internshala message.
2. Second round would be interview with the HR or the founder directly
3. If selected First 1-2 week will be testing of your knowledge, basic training. Based on your ability to work, create end product and earn our confidence on being able to execute the end result as we expect from you without any hesitation you will be assigned to the role.
