Sales Consultant Work From Home Part Time Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Cold calling using a given contact directory to introduce the company and services
2. Answering incoming calls from prospective customers
3. Using scripts to provide information about features and prices of products and services and presenting their benefits
4. Doing prior research to understand potential clients' requirements
5. Asking pertinent questions to understand the customer's needs
6. Persuading customers to buy by explaining how products or services can meet or complement their needs
7. Recording the customer's personal information accurately in a computer/CRM system and sharing with management as directed
8. Dealing with complaints or doubts to safeguard the company's reputation
9. Going the "extra mile" to meet sales quotas and facilitate future sales
10. Keeping records of calls and sales and recording useful information
11. Scheduling appointments for sales representatives to meet with potential clients
12. Generating a database with new leads and all relevant industry segments and geography
13. Using primary and secondary research, industry methods, and out-of-the-box ideas to generate a credible customer database
