Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include bringing stories to life through visual design and creative expression. You will assist in creating posters, videos, and other multimedia content for BITI's social media platforms. This work will contribute to campaign materials and advocacy efforts, helping to visually communicate the experiences of people with invisible disabilities.
If you are passionate about disability inclusion and possess a creative flair, we want you to join our team and make a real impact with Believe In The Invisible.
Believe in the Invisible (BITI) is a non-profit organization led by 2 persons with invisible disabilities, that advocates for the rights and inclusion of persons with invisible disabilities through storytelling, art, media, and advocacy. We focus on raising awareness about conditions like neurologial disorders, blood disorders, chronic pain, mental health conditions, and other disabilities that are not immediately visible. BITI works closely with communities, policymakers, and employers to promote inclusivity, break down societal misconceptions, and ensure equitable access to resources and opportunities for people with invisible disabilities. Through campaigns, educational initiatives, and collaborative efforts, we aim to create a world where invisible disabilities are recognized and supported in every sphere of life.
