About the work from home job/internship
As a social media marketing intern at FC, you'll help drive our social media strategy by creating, managing, and promoting content that engages the LGBTQ+ community and allies. While content creation is a great skill to have, the focus will be on strategy, engagement, and platform management. You'll work on platforms like Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Josh, and vernacular platforms, ensuring that our message is heard and resonates. This role will help you develop essential skills in social media management, making it a great stepping stone for careers like Social Media Manager, Digital Marketer, or Community Engagement Specialist.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with the team to develop and execute content strategies that align with FC's brand voice and values.
2. Help manage FC's presence on Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms, focusing on increasing audience engagement and reach.
3. Feature in or manage content such as reels and short videos, though this is not mandatory. Your focus will be on curating the content and ensuring it drives engagement.
4. Analyze social media performance metrics, use insights to optimize content, and suggest improvements based on trends and audience behavior.
5. Engage with the community through social media, responding to comments, DMs, and encouraging meaningful conversations.
