We are looking for skilled transcriptionists proficient in Assamese to accurately transcribe text and speech data. As a transcriptionist, you will be responsible for converting audio recordings into written text format and vice-versa.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Transcribe text and audio recordings in Assamese accurately and efficiently
2. Ensure high-quality transcription with attention to detail, grammar, and punctuation
3. Meet deadlines for assigned transcription tasks
4. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain consistency and quality in transcriptions
Requirements:
1. Proficiency in Assamese language, with fluency in reading, writing, and comprehension
2. Age limit: Not more than 60 years old
3. Must have Assamese as their mother tongue
4. Native places where Assamese is commonly spoken
5. Excellent listening skills and ability to understand various accents and dialects in Assamese
6. Strong typing skills and familiarity with transcription software/tools
7. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage workload
8. Prior experience in transcription or related field is preferred
9. Recording Device Type:
Transcriptionists will need access to a reliable recording device capable of capturing clear audio. This can include a digital recorder, smartphone, or computer with a microphone
10. Recording Environment:
The recording environment should be quiet and free from background noise to ensure clear audio quality
Transcriptionists should work in a comfortable space where they can focus on transcribing without interruptions
A noise-canceling headset may be beneficial for better clarity during transcription

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 50 per hour transcription).
