The transcriptionist will be responsible for accurately transcribing data from Gujarati script. Candidates must have a strong command of Gujarati language and may also possess proficiency in English. This position requires candidates to be natives of regions where Gujarati is predominantly spoken and must have a deep understanding of the language's nuances and cultural context.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Transcribe text/audio data from Gujarati language recordings with accuracy and attention to detail
2. Ensure timely completion of assigned transcription tasks
3. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data security protocols
4. Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines
5. Provide feedback and suggestions for improving transcription processes
Qualifications:
1. Age should not exceed 60 years
2. Must have Gujarati language proficiency at a native or near-native level
3. Proficiency in English is a plus
4. Familiarity with transcription software and tools
5. Strong listening and comprehension skills
6. Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
Required Equipment: Smartphone/computer with reliable internet connection
Recording Environment:
1. Quiet and distraction-free workspace
2. High-quality recording device required for occasional recording tasks

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 50 per hour transcription).
