About the work from home job/internship
We are hiring fluent Maithili speakers for a project involving audio transcription quality assurance. If you possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of transcription standards, then this QA opportunity is ideal for you.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Checking pre-transcribed Maithili audio recordings (5-10 minutes in length) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
2. Identifying and correcting any errors, like spelling mistakes, missing words, or misheard phrases.
3. Ensuring that the transcription accurately matches the spoken content.
4. Demonstrating a very strong understanding of transcription and quality assurance standards in Maithili.
5. Utilizing an online transcription tool to review, edit, and approve transcriptions.
6. Collaborating with the team leader to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality results.
Important note: Final transcription accuracy must exceed 99%.
