About the work from home job/internship
We are seeking fluent Tamil speakers for an ongoing project involving audio transcription quality assurance. If you possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of transcription standards, this opportunity is ideal for you.
The selected candidate's day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Reviewing pre-transcribed Tamil audio recordings (5-10 minutes in length) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
2. Identifying and correcting any errors, such as spelling mistakes, missing words, or misheard phrases.
3. Ensuring the transcription accurately matches the spoken content.
4. Demonstrating a strong understanding of transcription and quality assurance standards in Tamil.
5. Utilizing an online transcription editor to review, edit, and approve transcriptions.
6. Collaborating with the project team to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality results.
Important Note: Final transcription accuracy must exceed 95%.
