Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. User Research: Conduct in-depth research and usability testing to uncover user needs and behaviors.
2. Design: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that are intuitive and engaging.
3. Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers and developers to bring your designs to life.
