About the work from home job/internship
As a video editing/making intern at FC, you'll be key to creating polished and engaging video content for social platforms like Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and vernacular apps. While content creation is a useful skill, the primary focus of this role is on editing and post-production. You'll work remotely, editing videos that feature yourself or other members of the team. This internship will give you the opportunity to sharpen your video editing skills and prepare for roles like Video Editor, Video Producer, or Multimedia Specialist.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Edit and create engaging reels and short videos for platforms like Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Josh, and others.
2. Collaborate with the content team to refine raw footage into high-quality, engaging videos that resonate with our LGBTQ+ community.
3. Focus on video editing, including cuts, transitions, effects, and storytelling elements to create polished final products.
4. Stay up-to-date with video trends and techniques on various platforms, ensuring that content is current and optimized for maximum engagement.
5. Help manage video projects from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring timelines are met and quality is high.
