About the work from home job/internship
As a volunteer history storyteller, you will research and write short, captivating stories based on historical events, figures, and periods. These stories will be integrated into our educational platform, making learning history an immersive and enjoyable experience for students. Your work will directly contribute to the development of innovative educational content, helping us to deliver impactful lessons to children across the country.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Research historical events: Research and gather accurate information on assigned historical events, figures, or periods. Ensure the historical integrity and factual accuracy of all content.
2. Write engaging stories: Turn historical facts into creative, child-friendly stories that capture the essence of the events or figures. Make sure the stories are suitable for young learners, with age-appropriate language and tone.
3. Collaborate with the content team: Work closely with the content team to align the stories with our educational objectives. Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to develop new ideas for engaging history content.
4. Revise and edit content: Incorporate feedback from editors and educators to refine stories. Ensure the final stories meet our standards of quality and clarity.
5. Innovate new ways to tell history: Bring creative ideas to the table on how to present history in fresh and engaging ways. Explore opportunities to integrate multimedia elements (e.g., visuals, audio) into the stories.
