About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
2. Ensure websites are responsive, optimized for performance, and adhere to SEO best practices
3. Collaborate with designers to transform PSD/Figma/Sketch designs into fully functional WordPress sites
4. Customize and configure WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites, including plugin conflicts and server issues
6. Implement integrations with third-party tools, APIs, and e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce
7. Monitor and improve website performance using tools like Google Analytics, GTmetrix, and PageSpeed Insights
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and WordPress updates to ensure site security and functionality
9. Provide technical support and maintenance for existing WordPress websites

Other requirements

1. Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects

2. Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery

3. Experience with PHP and MySQL for back-end development

4. Knowledge of WordPress architecture, including themes, plugins, and custom post types

5. Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg

6. Understanding of SEO principles and implementation

7. Experience with version control systems like Git

8. Basic knowledge of website hosting, domain management, and DNS settings

9. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 100 per each new app is developed and then deployed on jira, ios or android).
