As a private equity intern at Succession Capital Partners, you will gain hands-on experience and contribute to various facets of our investment process.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
I. Networking and Investor Relations:
1. Research and build relationships with global Limited Partners (LPs) and investors
2. Start building and maintaining a comprehensive database of potential investors and industry contacts
II. Deal Flow: Build proprietary deal flow by developing tools and techniques for scouting buyout targets
III. Market Intelligence and Relationship Building:
1. Review and analyze private equity (PE) reports specific to the Indian market, providing insights and summaries to the team
2. Arrange and conduct formal meetings with Indian private equity firms and ecosystem participants (investment bankers, Big 4 firms, lawyers, etc.) to gain a thorough understanding of the lower mid-market buyout landscape
IV. Branding and Communication: Develop an overall brand and communications strategy to enhance the firm's market presence and visibility
V. Presentation and Documentation: Develop and update the fund deck, collaborating with senior team members to ensure it effectively communicates our value proposition and strategy
