About the work from home job/internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Monitoring Daily News and Updates: Track and analyze daily news from reliable sources such as The Hindu, Indian Express, PIB, Yojana, Kurukshetra, and other government publications. Focus on topics relevant to the UPSC syllabus, such as Polity, Economy, Environment, Science & Technology, and International Relations.
2. Content Curation and Summarization: Extract and summarize key information from newspapers, reports, and articles for concise, exam-relevant notes. Highlight the significance of news items for Prelims, Mains, and Essay sections.
3. Syllabus Mapping: Ensure that every piece of content is aligned with the UPSC syllabus and exam requirements. Categorize information under General Studies papers (GS I, II, III, IV) and optional subjects if applicable.
4. Preparation of Study Materials: Create concise fact sheets, issue briefs, and infographics summarizing complex topics. Develop structured content for revision, such as monthly current affairs compilations or thematic notes.
5. Drafting Practice Questions: Frame high-quality Prelims MCQs and Mains descriptive questions based on current events. Provide model answers and detailed explanations for practice.
6. Identifying Trends and Analysis: Analyse patterns in UPSC's previous year questions to identify trending topics in current affairs. Highlight areas likely to appear in future exams based on ongoing developments.
7. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Work with faculty and team members to refine study material.
