At Be Debonair Foundation, we are looking for a creative and driven Social Media Intern to join our team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing and growing social media platforms for a prominent digital magazine. You will play a key role in content creation, community engagement, and helping us amplify our brand's voice across multiple social channels.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging and shareable social media content (images, posts, videos, etc.) tailored to different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
2. Social Media Strategy: Help develop and implement strategies to increase engagement, followers, and brand awareness on social media channels.
3. Community Management: Monitor social media conversations, reply to comments, and engage with followers to build a vibrant and active community.
4. Trend Analysis: Stay on top of industry trends, viral content, and emerging social media platforms to ensure the Hindustan Herald's presence remains fresh and relevant.
5. Campaign Execution: Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns to promote new articles, features, and video content.
6. Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media metrics to understand content performance and help optimize strategies.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial and content teams to align social media strategies with the publication's overall goals and themes.

1. Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
2. Strong understanding of various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with an ability to create compelling copy for different social platforms.
4. Familiarity with social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social is a plus.
5. Creativity and a keen eye for design and aesthetics to produce engaging content.
6. Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance metrics and recommend improvements.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
8. A passion for digital media and staying updated with the latest trends in the social media landscape.
