About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Research and Evaluation: Identify and evaluate open-source CRM solutions that align with the organization's needs and objectives

2. Customization: Customize open source CRM platforms to tailor them to the organization's unique requirements, including but not limited to user interface modifications, workflow adjustments, and integration with existing systems

3. Development: Design and implement custom features, modules, and extensions to enhance the functionality of the CRM system as per business requirements

4. Integration: Integrate the CRM system with other business applications, databases, and third-party tools to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability

5. Testing: Conduct thorough testing of customized CRM solutions to ensure quality, performance, and reliability

6. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for customizations, configurations, and integrations to facilitate future maintenance and troubleshooting

7. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and administrators on the use and maintenance of the CRM system

8. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and IT to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and implement solutions that meet business objectives

Other requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field

2. Proven experience as a CRM Developer, preferably with open-source CRM platforms such as SuiteCRM, SugarCRM, or vTiger

3. Strong proficiency in PHP programming language

4. Experience with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX

5. Familiarity with database management systems, especially MySQL or PostgreSQL

6. Experience with version control systems such as Git

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

9. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

10. Prior experience in customizing and integrating CRM systems will be an added advantage
