We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented software testing & customer technical support intern who will assist in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products while providing top-notch technical support to our customers. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn the full lifecycle of software testing and customer support, with a potential for transitioning into a full-time role based on performance.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in creating, executing, and documenting test cases for software products
2. Perform manual testing, bug identification, and reporting issues to the development team
3. Collaborate with the development team to ensure issues are resolved and product quality is maintained
4. Assist in developing automated test scripts and running regression tests
5. Help identify and document best practices for testing procedures
6. Maintain a log of defects and work with engineers to resolve them
7. Provide first-line technical support to customers via phone, email, chat & remote
8. Diagnose and troubleshoot software-related issues faced by customers
9. Guide customers through software installations, updates, and configurations
10. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or development teams as needed
11. Assist in documenting common issues and solutions to build an internal knowledge base
12. Engage with customers to gather feedback for product improvement and report user experience insights to the team

1. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
2. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
3. Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts
4. Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools is a plus
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
6. Ability to work effectively in a team and with customers
7. Knowledge of troubleshooting software and basic IT systems
8. Basic programming skills (Python, Node JS, Angular & PHP) are a plus but not required
Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 500 per sale).
