I run multiple businesses across media and marketing, and I'm looking for a stellar video editor whose key skills are being innately great at telling a story and helping bring my stories to life on YouTube. Anyone can stitch videos and pictures together and dd a bunch of graphics, B-roll, and music, but not everyone is inherently a storyteller.
You will be working on:
1. Long-form videos (8-15 minute deep dives)
2. Podcast-style conversations (30-60 minutes)
3. Short, snappy cuts for reels/shorts
This isn't just about trimming clips it's about creating videos people want to watch. If the video doesn't educate, generate curiosity, or evoke emotion, I don't need it. If you understand pacing, storytelling, and how to keep a viewer hooked, I want to hear from you.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Edit both long-form and short-form YouTube content
2. Add motion graphics, captions, and on-brand visuals
3. Enhance videos with sound design & effects
4. Help design thumbnails if needed
5. Deliver fast turnarounds without sacrificing quality
Shortlisted candidates will receive a short editing assignment via email.
The best submissions will move forward to paid projects.
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for the work from home job/internship
2. can start the work from home job/internship between 22nd Feb'25 and 29th Mar'25
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
* Women wanting to start/restart their career can also apply.
You know how to tell a story through editing
You can edit in styles similar to Alex Hormozi, DOAC, Colin and Samir, MFM, Think Media, Ali Abdaal, Lilly Singh—to name a few, and the likes of these high-quality channels
You understand what keeps people engaged (the first 3 minutes are everything)
You’re reliable, communicative, and can hit deadlines
