About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Call potential authors and explain publishing services.
2. Follow up with interested leads and answer their queries.
3. Maintain a log of calls, responses, and next actions.
4. Build rapport with authors and guide them through the publishing process.
5. Address customer concerns and provide necessary solutions.
6. Schedule follow-up calls for ongoing projects.
7. Maintain and update lead and customer data in CRM or Excel.
8. Track call outcomes (interested, not interested, follow-up required, etc.).
9. Work towards achieving daily/weekly/monthly call and conversion targets.
10. Convert interested authors into paying customers.
11. Collaborate with the sales, editorial, and design teams for smooth workflow.
12. Pass on confirmed leads for further processing.
13. Respond to queries received via calls, WhatsApp, or emails.
14. Guide authors on pricing, publishing packages, and timelines.
15. Submit daily reports on calls made, responses, and conversions.
16. Identify common objections and suggest improvements.

1. Prior experience: Preferably in telecalling, sales, or customer service (publishing or education sector is a plus).

2. Strong verbal and written communication in [preferred language(s)].

3. Convincing and persuasive skills to convert leads into customers.

4. Familiarity with CRM tools, MS Excel, and email handling.

5. Comfortable talking to new people.

6. Ability to meet daily/weekly sales and call targets.

7. Must understand customer concerns before offering solutions.

8. Should be disciplined in call follow-ups and reporting.

9. Based on your business needs.

10. Specify if you prefer an in-office or work-from-home setup.

11. Ability to adjust call timing as per client availability.
