About the work from home job/internship
With an emphasis on Indian languages, we are looking for a careful and committed transcription specialist with experience turning audio recordings into text formats.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Transcription: faithfully convert audio files into written text while preserving the conversation, tone, and context of the original content
2. Language Proficiency: Translate audio into Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam, Punjabi, and other Indian languages
3. Quality Control: Make sure that transcriptions are highly accurate and of high quality, using appropriate language, spelling, and punctuation
4. Formatting: Ensure uniformity in style and layout by formatting transcriptions in accordance with prescribed rules
Conditions of Work:
1. Working with private or sensitive data may be necessary for this role.
2. Working in a certain environment or with particular hardware and software may be necessary for the position.
3. In order to achieve deadlines, flexibility in working hours could be necessary.
