Join our team as a product intern specializing in UI/UX design and work directly with the founders and key team members of MakerSharks. Our founders are distinguished graduates of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and our startup is a proud participant in MIT s premier accelerator, Delta V. This internship offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the innovative environment of our startup and contribute to shaping the future of manufacturing.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. User Research:
a. Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points
b. Translate insights into design solutions that enhance user experience
2. Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas and gather feedback from stakeholders and users
3. UI Design: Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with our brand guidelines and enhance overall user experience
4. Usability Testing:
a. Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather user feedback and identify areas for improvement
b. Analyze results and iterate on designs based on findings
5. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals
6. Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system to ensure consistency and scalability across all products
7. Interaction Design: Design intuitive and engaging interactions that enhance user satisfaction and product usability

1. Candidates with a degree in design will be preferred, but this is not a requirement.
2. Candidates with at least one internship experience in UI/UX design will be preferred.
Job offer: On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of Rs. 800000 to 1100000 /year
