Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work with WordPress editors (Gutenberg, Classic Editor, or page builders like Elementor/Divi).
2. Manage media libraries, optimize SEO (using tools like Yoast SEO, Rank Math), and handle content workflows.
3. Apply knowledge of HTML/CSS for styling adjustments.
4. Theme Customization:
Modify existing themes or create child themes.
Use PHP/HTML/CSS for custom layouts, responsive design, and ensuring accessibility.
Familiarity with theme frameworks (e.g., Astra, GeneratePress, Genesis).
5. Plugin Handling:
Install and configure plugins (e.g., WooCommerce, Contact Form 7, Advanced Custom Fields).
Troubleshoot plugin conflicts and optimize performance.
Develop custom plugins (PHP, WordPress hooks/APIs) as required.
6. Bonus Skills:
Implement security best practices (SSL, backups, Wordfence/Sucuri).
Optimize performance (caching, image compression, CDNs).
Basic SEO and analytics integration.
