1. Advanced WordPress proficiency: Extensive experience with WordPress, including custom theme development, plugin integration, and site management. A portfolio showcasing previous WordPress projects is highly desirable.
2. Custom theme and plugin development: Strong ability to develop custom themes and plugins from scratch, ensuring they are fully responsive, optimized for performance, and meet client-specific needs.
3. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP: Advanced coding skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with a deep understanding of how to leverage these languages for WordPress development.
4. Experience with page builders: Expertise in using popular WordPress page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi to create custom layouts and designs efficiently.
5. SEO best practices: Knowledge of on-page SEO best practices, including optimizing site structure, content, and speed for search engines.
6. Performance optimization: Experience in optimizing WordPress websites for speed and performance, including image optimization, caching, and minimizing HTTP requests.
7. Preferred: Experience with WordPress Multisite, REST API integration, and familiarity with hosting environments like cPanel, Plesk, or cloud hosting solutions.
