About the work from home job/internship
As a WordPress Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in website development, customization, and maintenance using Elementor, Envato Elements, and Figma. Below are your key daily responsibilities:
1. WordPress Theme & Plugin Management
Install, configure, and customize WordPress themes (including those from Envato Elements).
Work with Elementor and Elementor Pro to build responsive and visually appealing layouts.
Optimize themes for performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
Troubleshoot theme and plugin conflicts.
2. Elementor-Based Website Design & Development
Design and structure web pages using Elementor's drag-and-drop builder.
Implement pre-designed templates and customize them as per project needs.
Add and modify elements such as buttons, sliders, animations, and forms.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
3. Figma to WordPress Conversion
Analyze Figma designs and convert them into fully functional WordPress pages using Elementor.
Maintain pixel-perfect accuracy and follow the design guidelines.
Collaborate with designers to ensure proper UI/UX implementation.
4. Content Integration & Website Updates
Upload and format content (text, images, videos) on WordPress pages.
Update existing pages as per client or project requirements.
Ensure proper use of typography, spacing, and layout consistency.
5. Performance Optimization & SEO Basics
Optimize images, cache settings, and reduce page load time.
Implement basic on-page SEO (meta tags, alt text, URL structure, and schema markup).
Use SEO plugins (e.g., Yoast SEO, Rank Math) to enhance site visibility.
6. Plugin Installation & Configuration
Install and configure required plugins like contact forms, security, and caching.
Set up and manage third-party integrations such as email marketing tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot).
7. Website Testing & Debugging
Perform regular checks to identify layout issues, broken links, or slow-loading pages.
Test website responsiveness on different screen sizes.
Debug issues using WordPress tools and console logs.
8. Basic Customization with CSS & HTML
Make minor CSS and HTML changes to enhance the design.
Modify Elementor custom widgets when needed.
9. Backup & Security Measures
Regularly take backups using WordPress plugins like UpdraftPlus.
Implement basic security measures (firewall, login protection, SSL setup).
10. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain documentation of tasks, website configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Report daily progress to senior developers or project managers.
