About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Video posting: Schedule and upload videos according to the content calendar, ensure proper formatting, titles, descriptions, and tags, manage video thumbnails and end screens
2. Community engagement: Create and schedule community posts.
3. Collaboration and networking: Collaborate with VCD & VD team on videos, YouTube thumbnails, community post designs, banners, etc.
4. SEO optimization: Research and implement trending keywords, optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags for search, analyze search trends and adjust content strategy accordingly
5. Analytics and reporting: Monitor channel performance metrics, prepare regular reports on views, engagement, and subscriber growth, identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities
6. Content strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop video ideas, stay updated on platform trends and algorithm changes, propose new content formats and series ideas
7. Represent, moderate, and admin at events, podcasts, webinars, online interviews, etc.
8. Channel growth: Implement strategies to increase subscribers and viewer retention, explore new features and tools offered by YouTube, external plugins for SEO, etc.
9. Copyright and legal compliance: Ensure all content adheres to YouTube's guidelines and policies, manage any copyright claims or strikes, stay informed about platform policy changes.

Other requirements
1. Should have handled at least one YouTube channel for a duration of at least 1 month.
2. Is immensely creative and always bubbling up with new ideas
3. Has excellent verbal and written communication skills (Hindi and English)
4. Has strong proof-reading and editing skills
5. Has an understanding of how to create engaging and attractive content to optimize YouTube channels
7. Has an understanding and knowledge of YouTube and its algorithm
8. Has high ownership, enthusiasm and motivation
PS- Knowledge about SEO is a huge plus :)
Please note that for outstation candidates, we provide PG accommodation for the first 7 days and also reimbursement of AC-3 tier train fare for relocation.
