About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Day-to-Day Accounting Operations: Manage routine accounting tasks such as data entry in Tally, invoice processing, and reconciliation of bank statements to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring that payments to vendors and collections from customers are handled efficiently and accurately, maintaining strong financial control
3. Financial Record Keeping: Prepare, maintain, and update financial records, reports, and general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are documented systematically and in compliance with accounting standards
4. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management, providing insights into financial performance and highlighting key metrics through monthly MIS reports
Taxation and Compliance: Handle GST, TDS calculations, and timely filings, along with preparing and submitting compliance-related documents such as PF, ESI, and other statutory filings, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements
5. Vendor Negotiations and Pricing Strategy: Negotiate with vendors to secure the best L1/L2/L3 pricing, ensuring cost-effective procurement practices while maintaining strong vendor relationships
6. Sales Invoicing and Proposals: Prepare accurate sales proposals and customer invoices, ensuring timely billing and collection while supporting the sales team in the financial aspects of proposals

Other requirements
Bachelor's degree in commerce (regular) with above 80% or above throughout academics, preferably from Delhi University
Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is required, demonstrating expertise in financial management
Proficiency in accounting software, including Tally and Microsoft Excel, with strong data management and reporting skills
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for conveying financial concepts to stakeholders
Eagerness to learn and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in finance and accounting
