About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

Business Development (Sales) professionals are responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and closing sales. Key responsibilities include researching and analyzing market trends, targeting potential customers, and generating leads. They develop and implement strategic sales plans, pitch products or services to prospects, and negotiate contracts to meet company sales goals.
A significant part of the role involves nurturing relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business while expanding the customer base. Business Development professionals work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
They must monitor sales performance, provide accurate sales forecasts, and adjust approaches based on client feedback or market changes. Effective communication, networking, and the ability to present complex information persuasively are essential skills in this role. Additionally, they often attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to stay informed and generate new business opportunities.
In a fast-paced environment, Business Development roles require resilience, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented mindset, all aimed at achieving long-term growth and profitability.
