1. Provide practical and creative contributions to scene planning, partnering with the director and production crew to understand the aesthetic vision and objectives of the project
2. Select, assemble, and position equipment like cameras, stands, lenses, filters, and software, ensuring that it is in proper working order
3. Prepare cameras and test camera angles or movements to produce the desired visual effects and verify technical functionality
4. Shoot scenes by the needs and directions supplied, capturing high-quality footage from fixed or moving positions
5. Capture film that fits the project's artistic and technical requirements, taking into account aspects such as composition, lighting, exposure, and frame
6. Resolve technical or practical production concerns such as lighting challenges, camera breakdowns, or unanticipated changes in filming locations
7. Work with the post-production team to ensure the final product matches the intended visual aesthetic, editing footage as needed
8. Travel outside of Bangalore for shoots on occasion, collaborating with the production team to gather video in other locales
