Continuous Improvement Engineering Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assembly line design and optimization: Led the design, development, and optimization of the lithium battery pack assembly line to ensure efficiency, scalability, and reliability
2. Process improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations, reduce waste, and enhance productivity
3. Quality assurance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish rigorous quality control processes and standards for battery pack assembly, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal specifications
4. Continuous monitoring and analysis: Develop and implement performance metrics monitor key indicators of assembly line performance, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
5. Supplier collaboration: Work closely with suppliers to evaluate equipment, materials, and components, and ensure they meet the required specifications for the assembly line
6. Training and development: Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, equipment, and best practices to optimize workflow and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
7. Project management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely completion of assembly line setup and continuous improvement projects
8. Risk management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions to production and ensure the smooth operation of the assembly line
