We are seeking a highly motivated and talented data engineer intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are passionate about data engineering and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to evaluate data formats, data sources, and various data transformation techniques
2. Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot any data issues
3. Implement methods to improve data reliability and quality
4. Combine raw information from different sources to create consistent and machine-readable formats
5. Develop and test architectures that enable data extraction and transformation for predictive or prescriptive modelling
6. Build data pipelines to collectively bring data together
7. Provide technical support to data engineers and analysts in troubleshooting issues related to data pipelines, databases, and other data infrastructure
8. Automate manual tasks to enhance efficiency and streamline data processes
9. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and software engineers
10. Continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
Note:
1. This is a 3-month internship position with the possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time role based on performance
2. During the internship, you are expected to bring your laptop

1. Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science, or a related area
2. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, or Scala
3. Familiarity with SQL, Big Data technologies (Spark), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
4. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Self-motivated and results-oriented
7. Strong Problem-solving skills and highly developed analytical and organizational skills
