About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, domain experts, and data engineers to define project goals and requirements.
2. Design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML models that solve complex problems and deliver meaningful insights.
3. Explore and analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for model development.
4. Pre-process, clean, and transform data to ensure its quality, relevance, and suitability for modeling purposes.
5. Select appropriate algorithms, frameworks, and techniques to build predictive and prescriptive models based on business objectives.
6. Optimize model performance through feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and model validation techniques.
7. Implement and utilize state-of-the-art machine learning methodologies, ensuring the scalability and robustness of models.
8. Interpret and communicate the results of complex analyses to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
9. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI/ML, and identify opportunities for their application within the company.
10. Contribute to the development of best practices, guidelines, and documentation for AI/ML model development.
11. Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior team members, and fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Other requirements
1. Base-level experience in building machine learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
2. Familiar with computer vision libraries and tools, such as OpenCV and scikit-image.
3. Basic understanding of data manipulation and analysis with tools like Pandas and NumPy
4. Knowledgeable about model deployment and cloud-based AI services.
5. Fundamental grasp of algorithms, data structures, and statistical analysis.
6. Candidates with a computer science engineering/Data Science background
7. Being proactive: Take initiative and show enthusiasm for learning and contributing to projects.
8. Ask questions: Don’t hesitate to seek help or clarification on tasks or concepts.
9. Staying organized: Keep track of your tasks, experiments, and progress to manage your workload effectively.
