About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Engage in data collection, preprocessing, and transformation to prepare high-quality datasets for analysis and model building.
2. Contribute to the development of machine learning and deep learning models, ensuring they are efficient and scalable.
3. Apply Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI techniques to healthcare-specific problems.
4. Deploy machine learning models on AWS, ensuring reliable performance in cloud environments.
5. Participate in MLOps/AIOps pipelines with a focus on CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) to automate model deployment, monitoring, and version control.
6. Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to manage and retrieve data for analysis.
7. Collaborate with the team using Git for version control and seamless project integration.
8. Communicate with healthcare professionals to understand real-world healthcare problems, particularly in maternal and neonatal care.
9. Visit hospitals or healthcare centers to gather insights and data for AI/ML models.
10. Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML, CI/CD best practices, and apply new techniques to ongoing projects.

Other requirements

1. Programming: Experience with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or related frameworks.

2. Cloud Computing: Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms for AI/ML deployment.

3. Data Handling: Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.

4. Machine Learning: Knowledge of deep learning methods, especially for image processing and predictive analytics in healthcare.

5. MLOps: Basic understanding of MLOps principles and model lifecycle management.

6. Generative AI: Familiarity with GenAI for building adaptive healthcare tools.

7. NLP: Understanding of NLP to enhance app-based interactions with healthcare professionals and patients.

8. Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate with both technical teams and healthcare professionals.

9. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

10. Previous experience in AI/ML applications for maternal and neonatal healthcare is a plus.
