About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in building machine learning models for text-to-speech recognition, video understanding, and AI-driven multimedia applications.
2. Work with large, multi-modal datasets (audio, video, text) to preprocess, analyze, and extract meaningful features.
3. Collaborate with senior data scientists and AI engineers to develop algorithms for text-to-speech, audio-visual synchronization, and other related tasks.
4. Conduct experiments and perform data analysis to improve model accuracy and efficiency.
5. Develop scripts for data processing, model training, evaluation, and result analysis.
6. Stay updated with the latest research and trends in speech and video AI, and incorporate them into your work.
7. Communicate findings, insights, and results clearly to team members and stakeholders.

Other requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science or Computer Science, AI, or related fields.

Strong programming skills in Python (knowledge of libraries like NumPy, pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow).

2. Understanding of machine learning concepts and experience with supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning models.

3. Experience with speech processing techniques (TTS, ASR) or video analytics is a plus.

4. Familiarity with tools such as ffmpeg, espeak, is beneficial.

5. Knowledge of feature extraction methods, clustering techniques, and dimensionality reduction.

6. Experience working with datasets in languages other than English is a plus.

7. Data analysis and visualization using tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly.

Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms and frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).

8. Understanding of phoneme analysis, audio synchronization, or video AI techniques is an advantage.

9. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

10. Good communication and presentation skills.
