Development Of Export Division Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

I. Product Selection

1. Checking the export potential of products based on the past year's export performance from a government database
2. Identifying products which have huge export potential; due diligence for the prices at which export-quality goods are available in India

II. Various vendor selections, like CHA/Freight Forwarder/International Courier Company/Banks/Packing Agency

1. Preparing checklist for various vendors to be selected for export business
2. Arranging for a meeting with them
3. Collecting quotations from vendors for their charges and services provided
4. Preparing a list of vendors with SWAT analysis

III. Lead Generation

1. Preparing a consolidated database of potential customers from various sources like port data, consulate offices, google search, etc.
2. Preparing content for digital media, i.e. website, social media pages, company profile, etc.
3. Devising automated tools for reaching out to customers through push and pull marketing
