Fashion Design Internship

Rashtr is seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer to join our team. As a Fashion Designer, you will play a key role in bringing our brand's vision to life through innovative and culturally inspired designs. You will work closely with our design team to conceptualize and develop unique collections that celebrate the diversity of cultures from around the world.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and develop seasonal collections that align with the brand's aesthetic and vision.
2. Research global fashion trends, cultural influences, and historical references to inspire new design concepts.
3. Create sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings of garment designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software or by hand.
4. Develop detailed design specifications, including fabric selection, color palettes, and trimmings.
5. Work closely with patternmakers and sample makers to translate design concepts into physical prototypes.
6. Conduct fittings and adjustments to ensure proper fit, drape, and proportion of garments.
7. Stay informed about industry developments, emerging trends, and technological advancements in fashion design.
8. Collaborate with production teams to oversee the manufacturing process and ensure quality control standards are met.
9. Attend fashion shows, trade fairs, and industry events to gather inspiration and network with industry professionals.
10. Provide creative input and feedback on marketing campaigns, photo shoots, and promotional materials.
11. Ensure quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards are implemented throughout the design and production process to maintain product excellence.
