This profile is being hired for a new division where we want to recreate and redesign old clothes into new garments. E.g. An ill-fitting kurta to a new dress or a saree into a lehenga or old dhotis into cushion pillows or quilts etc. We want to give life to old clothes and encourage sustainability keeping in mind the fashion trends.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Analyze the old garment patterns and suggest new patterns that can be made
2. Making at least 3 designs for how the old clothes can be converted to new ones
3. Finalizing the finalized design to be implemented and communicating with the tailoring unit to help them give life to the design
4. Being part of working out the cost of the new garment and making changes if necessary

3. are available for duration of 3 months
