Finance Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

a. Managing Purchase-to-Payables Process:
1. Handle end-to-end vendor payments as per the current Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
2. Ensure timely processing of payments while following internal approval workflows.

b. Invoice Management & Bookkeeping:
1. Record all vendor invoices accurately in the accounting system.
2. Verify completeness and compliance of invoices before payment processing.

c. Vendor Reconciliation:
1. Reconcile payments made to vendors with corresponding invoices and GST credit received.
2. Identify and resolve discrepancies in payment and credit matching.

d. SOP Improvement & Process Optimization:
1. Identify gaps in existing SOPs and suggest actionable improvements.
2. Ensure that processes remain compliant with company policies and statutory requirements.

e. Compliance & Statutory Requirements:
1. Ensure Input GST credits are properly accounted for and aligned with payments made.

f. Ad-hoc Finance Tasks:
1. Assist the finance team with ad-hoc tasks related to payables, reconciliations, and reporting as needed.
