Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Understanding manpower requisition from the concerned department
2. Understanding the requirement and accordingly drafting a job description and getting it approved by the concerned person
3. Sourcing candidates that match the desired skills
4. Screening the candidates by conducting telephonic or personal interviews as the case may be
5. Encouraging the employees to provide references for better prospects
6. Arranging for technical interviews and coordinating with the concerned person
7. Communicating the employment status to the applied candidates
8. Maintaining and updating the database of the candidates
9. Doing background verification of the shortlisted candidates
