About the internship

Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive and dynamic HR intern from an agriculture or electronics engineering background who will support our daily operations and contribute to various HR and administrative functions. This position is ideal for candidates looking to gain extensive experience in a fast-paced startup environment and grow into a permanent role based on performance.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
2. Provide clerical and administrative support to the founders and directors
3. Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and training seminars
4. Manage the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks, and issuing employment contracts
5. Oversee social media presence for HR purposes and engage with potential candidates
6. Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
7. Review and update job descriptions for all positions regularly
8. Implement performance review procedures (e.g., quarterly/annual evaluations)
9. Engage employees in initiatives to ensure job satisfaction and organizational commitment
10. Track employee performance and attend to any inquiries or needs regarding working conditions
11. Handle procurement and purchasing responsibilities, including negotiating with vendors and managing inventory
12. Manage the invoicing process, ensuring timely payments and proper documentation

Other requirements

1. Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in HR, agriculture, or electronics engineering.

2. Excellent command over verbal and written communication.

3. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations.

4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting principles.

5. Be adept at managing multiple tasks in a collaborative environment.
