About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Recruitment and Staffing: HR professionals are often responsible for attracting, sourcing, recruiting, and selecting qualified candidates to fill open positions within the organization. This involves writing job descriptions, posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
2. Employee Relations: Maintaining positive relationships between employees and the organization is crucial for HR. This involves addressing any employee concerns or grievances, mediating conflicts, and fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment. HR also plays a role in implementing policies and procedures that promote fairness and compliance with labor laws.
3. Training and Development: HR is typically responsible for organizing and facilitating training programs to help employees develop the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their jobs effectively. This may include orientation for new hires, ongoing professional development opportunities, and leadership training.
4. Compensation and Benefits: HR professionals often manage employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonuses, health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
