About the internship
About Us:
ScrapUncle is a platform that allows users to schedule doorstep pickups for junk items like paper, metals, plastics, and e-waste, and get paid for it. Featured on Shark Tank India Season 2, we've completed over 50,000 pickups in Delhi NCR and are winners of the Urban Works Challenge by Columbia University.
Internship Location: Okhla Phase 3, New Delhi
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
2. Help with onboarding and maintain employee records.
3. Support daily HR operations and handle employee queries.
4. Contribute to employee engagement activities.
5. Assist in compiling and analyzing HR data.
Requirements:
1. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Business, or related fields.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Attention to detail and confidentiality.
4. Proactive and eager to learn.
5. Proficient in MS Office.
6. Able to work from our Okhla Phase 3 office.

About Scrap Uncle
ScrapUncle (formerly Swapeco) is an App/Website where users can schedule a doorstep pickup for their junk items like paper, metals, plastics, electronic waste, etc., and get paid for the same. We were featured and funded on Shark Tank India Season 2. We have completed 50,000 pickups in Delhi NCR and sent around 2.5 million kgs of junk and recyclables to recycling units. We are also the winners of the Urban Works Challenge hosted by Columbia University.
