The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding and identifying leads through a variety of sources. Once leads identified, this candidate will reach out and meet with the business' decisions makers to better understand their business needs and how our product could help them.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Identify and qualify new customersProspect new customers through lead generation, trade shows, follow-up, and cold calling
2. Identify the correct decision-makers within a given business
3. Document all pertinent customer information and conversations in the CRM system
4. Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and evaluate customer needs
5. Generate qualified leads
6. Seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
7. Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
8. Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
9. Build and maintain professional networks
10. Meet with potential clients to determine their needs
11. Attend workshops to learn more technical and professional skills for the job
12. Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
13. Gather feedback from customers or prospects to share with internal teams
14. Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
15. Maintain best practices
