About the internship
We are looking for a talented and creative interior design intern to join our team. As an interior design intern in an early childhood education setup, you will be responsible for designing and creating an engaging and stimulating environment for young children.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with the design team to create a safe and interactive environment for children
2. Assist in developing design concepts that promote learning and development
3. Create 2D and 3D designs for furniture, fixtures, and equipment
4. Assist in selecting materials, colors, and textures for the learning environment
5. Assist in preparing design presentations and proposals for clients
6. Attend stakeholder meetings and provide design input as needed
7. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
8. Assist in monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to design specifications
9. Conduct research on best practices in early childhood education and design

Other requirements
1. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in interior design or a related field.
2. Knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

5. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
