About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
A. Industry Research:(Leather Industry)
1. Conduct in-depth research on assigned leather industries to understand their current landscape, trends, challenges, and growth drivers.
2. Identify and analyze key market players, their products/services, market share, competitive positioning, and strategies.
3. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and other factors that could impact the industry.
B. Mass Affecting Problems Identification:
1. Research and analyze societal issues, economic trends, or consumer behavior patterns that could present challenges or opportunities for businesses.
2. Evaluate the potential impact of these issues on different industries and market segments.
C. Market Player Studies:
1. Develop comprehensive profiles of key competitors in target markets.
2. Analyze their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis).
3. Assess their marketing strategies, pricing models, distribution channels, and target audience.
D. New-Age Business Opportunities:
1. Identify potential gaps or unmet needs in the market that could be addressed by innovative products or services.
2. Assess the feasibility and potential profitability of new business ideas.
3. Conduct market sizing and forecasting to estimate potential demand.
E. Data Collection and Analysis:
1. Gather data from various sources, including online databases, industry reports, news articles, and social media.
2. Use qualitative and quantitative research methods to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.
3. Present findings in clear and concise reports, presentations, or visualizations.
