As a mechanical engineering intern, you will be required to wear many hats and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
2. Support the Business Development team with proposals and mission concepts.
3. Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
4. Work closely with the EE and ME teams to create end-to-end satellite components.
5. You will identify possible failure modes, develop effective design and validation test plans, and work hands-on to execute tests.
6. Perform hand calcs & analysis for structural and thermal integrity.

1. Currently studying/holding a bachelor's degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
2. Resourceful, flexible, and adaptable; no task is too big or too small.
3. Ability to balance academic coursework with internship requirements.
4. Familiarity with CAD tools.
5. Strong Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
6. Willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed.
7. Familiarity with OnShape, SolidWorks, Nastran, MATLAB, & Python.
8. Background in Aerospace Engineering/satellite development.
