The mission of HyperVerge Academy (Social Impact Wing of HyperVerge) is to provide young people from under-resourced communities with access to skilling and networking opportunities to get credible, well-paying jobs in the tech sector. HVA enables learners to become job-ready by helping them gain industry-relevant technical and communication skills through a 6-month online mentorship program.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Identifying companies hiring for candidates with similar skillsets as our learners and discovering the right stakeholders to reach out to.
2. Reaching out to relevant stakeholders via cold emails, cold calls, or cold LinkedIn messages, and following up as necessary.
3. Understanding the recruiter's requirements and convincing them to consider candidates from HVA.
4. Referring appropriate candidates who match the profiles after seeking inputs from the team.
5. Ensuring the interview process happens smoothly until selection or rejection.
6. Collecting feedback from recruiters at all points of the process to improve our practices.
Goal: Support the team in ensuring that 100 learners are placed in the tech industry as developers / data analysts with an average salary of 5LPA
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 11th Sep'24 and 16th Oct'24
3. are available for duration of 6 months

2. You are a natural when it comes to connecting with people. You listen and understand another person’s perspective. You speak and write clearly, in an articulate manner. You have a knack for convincing people, and you can make people understand your viewpoint or a difference of opinion without offending them.
3. You have high grasping power, can see patterns in numbers, and draw insightful conclusions. You enjoy thinking using first principles. You are comfortable working with Google Sheets.
4. Prior experience of being a placement coordinator
5. Comfort with sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, etc.
